SPEAKER Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez leads the launch of the Cash and Rice Distribution (CARD) program to 3,000 beneficiaries in La Trinidad, Benguet Sunday morning (April 21, 2024).
The CARD program is a joint initiative of the House of Representatives and the Department of Social Welfare and Development, in line with the call of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. to support indigents, senior citizens, PWDs, solo parents and IPs amid rising food prices and promote economic stability for the benefit of the Filipino people.
Assisting the speaker are Benguet Governor Melchor Diclas, Lone District Rep. Eric. Go Yap, 62 House Members led by Senior Deputy Speaker Aurelio “Dong” Gonzales Jr., Deputy Speaker David “Jayjay” Suarez, Majority Leader Manuel Jose”Mannix” Dalipe and other local government officials.
