Silang, Cavite – Two more cadets from the Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) have come forward to report alleged hazing incidents, bringing to light continued concerns over maltreatment within the institution.
Both cadets were found to have sustained minor bruises on their feet, which they attributed to being struck by their seniors.
According to PNPA Acting Director Police Brigadier General Redrico Maranan, the victims explicitly stated that the injuries were caused by a stick wielded by two of their upperclassmen.
The discovery was made on April 19 during the conduct of a regular body check, a routine procedure implemented to monitor the physical condition and welfare of the cadets.
Prompt action was taken following the confirmation of the allegations. The two upperclassmen implicated in the incident have been arrested and are currently detained at the Silang Municipal Police Station.
They now face administrative and possible criminal charges as authorities continue to investigate the matter to ensure accountability and uphold discipline within the academy.
