TWO boys were shot and killed by motorcycle riding suspect inside an internet café in Barangay Camudmud, Babak District in Samal Island.
Police identified the victims as alias Mark, 14 and John, 16.
They sustained multiple gunshot wounds in different parts of the body and were declared dead on arrival at the hospital.
Witnesses said at least 10 gunshots were fired by the suspect. The incident was captured by a CCTV camera.
Police said the suspects fled on board a motorcycle immediately after shooting the victims.
“Pag-abot nila didto sa area, naka-motor. Pag-escape nila, migamit sila og motorsiklo,” IGACOS Police Station Acting Chief, Major Sheryl Bautista, said.
Alias Mark’s sister said they are not aware of any possible reason why her brother would be killed. She said her brother just dropped by the computer shop with a friend after taking their elder sister to Babak.
“Natingala mi nganong gipusil kay wala man untay gihimo ang among igsuon,” she said.
Police have launched an investigation into the incident and are reviewing the CCTV footage to identify the gunman.
