Liloan, Cebu – A total of 497 residents of Liloan received ₱5,400 each, amounting to ₱2,683,800, in cash assistance from the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) in collaboration with the Office of Congressman Duke Frasco.
This distribution marks the second batch of beneficiaries to receive aid. According to officials, residents who were affected by Typhoon Tino but have not yet received assistance will receive theirs next week.
The initiative is designed to provide much-needed financial relief to Liloan residents struggling with everyday expenses in the aftermath of Typhoon Tino.
Congressman Duke Frasco expressed his gratitude to DOLE Secretary Benny Laguesma and DOLE Regional Director Roy Buenafe for their ongoing support and assistance to the people of Liloan.
Congressman Frasco was joined by Mayor Aljew Frasco, the Municipal Councilors of Liloan, DOLE Labor and Employment Officer II Mr. Prospero Lahoylahoy, and other Municipal and Barangay Officials during the distribution.
