SENATOR Grace Poe raised the possibility of using illegal Philippine offshore gaming operator (POGO) complexes for public housing on Monday, July 29, 2024.
“Maybe the government can decide what we can do with that. Baka mamaya housing na ‘yan para sa ating mga kababayan, after we pay the proper fees for that to be able to properly take over those places legally. I think it can be converted to help our countrymen,” Poe said during the Committee on Women, Children, Family Relations and Gender Equality’s continuing probe on illegal activities within POGO hubs.
