The life of Mutya ng Pampanga candidate Geneva Lopez and her Israeli boyfriend Yitshak Cohen was ended by two gunshot wounds.
This comes after the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) conducted an autopsy on the bodies of the victims found in a secluded quarry site in Tarlac yesterday.
NBI director Jaime Santiago stated that both victims had gunshot wounds in their backs. Lopez also had another gunshot wound in her leg.
Both bodies were already decomposing. According to the police report, three persons of interest are currently in police custody.
Two of them are former police officers while one is a real estate middleman. The victims were last seen on June 21 on their way to Capas, Tarlac to purchase a 20-hectare land.
That was the last time the couple was seen leaving their subdivision in Angeles City, Pampanga. The burnt SUV of the victims was also found on the side of the road in Capas, Tarlac. Authorities are still investigating the motive behind the killing of the victims.”
