Pinoy sa Malaysia pinag-iingat sa biglaang pagtaas ng kaso ng Covid-19

PINAG-IINGAT ang mga Pinoy sa Malaysia dahil sa pagtaas ng kaso ng Covid-19 sa naturang bansa.

Sa advisory, sinabi ng Philippine Embassy sa Malysia na isagawa na ang social distancing, pagiging malinis sa sarili, pagsusuot ng face masks lalo na kung kulob at maraming tao, at magpabakuna.

Sinabi ng embahada na may sapat na stock ng bakuna para sa lahat sa naturang bansa, higit sa mga nasa high-risk categories. 

Wala ring naiulat na bagong variant ng Covid-19 sa Malaysia maliban sa Omicron at subvariants nito.

“The predominant Omicron sub-variants in Malaysia are the XBB.1.16, XBB.1.5, and EG.5.5, which are known to be highly transmissible, but generally do not result in severe cases,” ayon pa sa embahada.

Sa kabila ng biglaang pagtaas ng bilang ng kaso ng Covid-19, kayang-kaya naman umano ng Malaysia kontrolin ang bilang ng kaso.

Mula noong Disyembre 1, 2023 ay ipinatutupad na ng Malaysian government ang the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) requirement para sa mga dayuhan bago pa sila pumasok ng naturang bansa.
