VINCE Dizon, former BCDA president and COVID-19 presidential adviser, has been appointed as the new Secretary of the Department of Transportation (DOTr), effective February 21, 2025.
Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin confirmed the appointment, stating that Dizon has already begun the transition process with outgoing Secretary Jaime Bautista, who resigned due to health reasons.
Bautista expressed gratitude for his time in office, citing it as both challenging and enriching.
