VICE President Sara Duterte visited the House of Representatives on Thursday evening to see her chief of staff, Atty. Zuleika Lopez, who is currently detained there.
According to House Secretary General Reginald Velasco, the Vice President arrived at around 8 pm and is still at the House as of this writing. Lopez was held in contempt by the House Committee on Good Government and Public Accountability for “undue interference” during a previous hearing.
The natures of the interference and the specific hearing in question have not been disclosed.
