admin October 25, 2024

"This is our small contribution from ACT-CIS and the Erwin Tulfo Action Center for our fellow countrymen who were flooded and battered in Bicolandia to help our fellow countrymen there," Tulfo said in a statement.

OVER 2,000 sacks of rice and P1 million in cash were distributed by Rep. Erwin Tulfo and the ACT-CIS partylist in the Bicol region.

Today (Oct 24), House Deputy Majority Leader Erwin Tulfo and the ACT-CIS partylist distributed up to 2,000 sacks of rice and P1 million for those affected by Typhoon Kristine in the Bicol region.

“This is our small contribution from ACT-CIS and the Erwin Tulfo Action Center for our fellow countrymen who were flooded and battered in Bicolandia to help our fellow countrymen there,” Tulfo said in a statement.

Yesterday, upon Rep. Tulfo’s orders, his chief of staff, PCGA Auxiliary Cdr. Jerico Javier, who is also a PCGA Auxiliary Commodore, personally delivered P1 million in cash and 1,000 sacks of rice to officials of the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG).

The Coast Guard will distribute the cash and rice to those affected by the typhoon in the Bicol region.

Additionally, Tulfo’s office and the ACT-CIS partylist also coordinated with the Angat Buhay Foundation of former Vice President Leni Robredo to provide an additional 500 sacks of rice.

“Rest assured that we at ACT-CIS do not stop helping, regardless of the circumstances, whether there is a disaster or not, we continuously seek ways to help our fellow Filipinos,” according to Jeff Soriano of the ACT-CIS partylist.

Another 500 sacks of rice will also be distributed to the town of Iriga and other towns in the severely affected Bicol region.
