BUDGET and Management (DBM) Secretary Amenah Pangandaman discussed the proposed P5.268 trillion National Budget for the year 2023 in a press briefing held, August 31.
The budget reveals transportation and agriculture as priority sectors.
DBM emphasizes that the proposal was made in support of the administration’s 8-point Socioeconomic Agenda that seeks to address the most pressing issues in the country.
“We wanted a budget that is responsive to every need of every Filipino, this guided every decision we had to make in making the next [national budget plan],” said DBM Secretary Pangandaman.
