PRESIDENT Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr., accompanied by Speaker Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez, Agriculture Secretary Francisco Tiu Laurel, Jr. and National Irrigation Administration chief Eduardo Guillen arrives at Construct City in Mexico, Pampanga for the turnover of various operations and maintenance equipment of NIA, Wednesday morning.
In his message, President Marcos thanked Speaker Romualdez and the House of Representatives for allocating funds for the acquisition of the NIA equipment that will be utilized to improve the country’s irrigation facilities and help boost Filipino farmers’ productivity.
