SAN Jose del Monte, Bulacan Mayor Florida Robes has vehemently denied allegations made by Curlee Discaya regarding her purported involvement with contractors of flood control projects in the city.
The former lawmaker issued a strongly worded statement, condemning the use of her name in connection with the ongoing controversy.
“Kung sino man gumagamit ng pangalan ko, mangilabot naman kayo!” Robes declared, expressing her outrage at being linked to the alleged irregularities. She further asserted that San Jose del Monte has undergone significant positive transformation under her leadership, emphasizing the high quality of the city’s infrastructure projects. “Kitang-kita naman ng marami kung gaano na kaganda ang San Jose del Monte ngayon. Walang ghost project dito at pang-world class ang aming mga infrastructure,” Robes stated.
In response to Discaya’s claims, Mayor Robes has announced her intention to file a libel case against him.
This legal action underscores her determination to clear her name and protect her reputation from what she believes are false and malicious accusations.
