Senate officially opens 3rd Regular Session of 19th CongressSENATE President Francis “Chiz” G. Escudero officially opened the Third Regular Session of the 19th Congress Monday, July 22, 2024 with 23 senators present.
Some Cabinet members, the diplomatic corps and former senators attended the ceremonial opening that lasted for 30 minutes.Spouses and other family members of the senators were also present to witness the session’s commencement.
