THE Supreme Court (SC) has launched the Judiciary Information and General Support System (JIGSS) on Facebook Messenger, a chatbot that provides instant answers for legal assistance, court information, and paying court fees online.
For free legal aid, JIGSS connects users to legal aid clinics across the Philippines, including those accredited by the SC’s Clinical Legal Education Program (CLEP), the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP), and the Public Attorney’s Office.
To find a trial court, JIGSS links users to the Court Locator, allowing searches by province, municipality, court type, and even judge.
Full contact details and directions to the Hall of Justice via Google Maps will also be provided.
For online payment of court fees, JIGSS simplifies the process with the Judiciary e-Payment Solution (JePS).
