TINGOG Party-list Representatives Yedda K. Romualdez and Jude A. Acidre opened four Alagang Tingog Centers (ATC) in Bohol province on August 11.

There are now 80 ATCs in the country.

The said ATCs are situated in the municipalities of Ubay, Sierra Bullones, Balilihan and Tagbilaran.

Aside from the ATC opening, the two also led the Department of Social Welfare and Development’s (DSWD) Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) pay-out to 1,000 beneficiaries from each municipality who received P5,000 each.

According to some of the beneficiaries, the financial help they received from DSWD and Tingog Partylist will be used for their daily basic needs such as food and medicines.

Tingog Party-list also provided each municipality with grocery bags, refrigerator units and one motorcycle given to some lucky individuals.

In his message, Acidre reassured the residents, that the money they received that day is only the start of the many assistance that the partylist shall offer to the residents through their ATCs.

“Sugod karon, ‘di na mo maglisod pangita asa ang opisina sa Tingog Party-list. Kung naa mo’y panginahanglan, bayranan sa ospital, bayranan sa funeraria, kanang transportation assistance, educational assistance, naa na ang Alagang Tingog Center,” Acidre said.

(Starting today, you will no longer find it difficult to look for Tingog Party-list’s office. If you need hospital, burial, transportation or educational assistance, our Alagang Tingog Center is here to aid you.)

He also thanked the Bohol local government officials and their partners for allowing Tingog Party-list to put up their ATC in the province.

Also present during the activity were  Bohol Governor Erico Aristotle Aumentado and Undersecretary Terence C. Calatrava from the Office of the Presidential Assistant for the Visayas as well as other local government officials from the province.

At present, there are now 80 Alagang Tingog Centers strategically located in different parts of Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
