A NEW public market in Barangay Consuelo of San Francisco, Cebu will occupy the land donated by Cebu 5th District Representative Vincent Franco “Duke” Frasco.
A property with a total area of 1,287 square meters was purchased by Frasco for an amount of P700,000 out of his personal funds for the purpose of giving it to the barangay and, subsequently, to construct a public market.
Frasco believes that public market is one of the most essential pillars in the life of a community and the progress of its economy. It creates many opportunities for local businesses and employment, gives residents better access to fresh and locally grown products, and serves as a place for social and economic activities, among others.
Accordingly, the soon-to-be constructed public market in Barangay Consuelo is seen to be a center for trade and commerce which shall contribute greatly to the economy of San Francisco and benefit the people of Camotes and their families.
True to his aspiration of uplifting the lives of his constituents, Congressman Frasco continues to work hard and strive to provide more development, gainful employment, and progress for his district.
