THE purchase of hectares of agricultural land in the country by foreign nationals for business purposes
to which some ended up to become scam farms is alarming.
This is the statement of Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission or PAOCC spokesperson Winston Casio.
Casio emphasized that aside from it being illegal for foreigners to own land, they could potentially control the prices of agricultural products if this continues.
In addition, Casio also revealed that they have a list of legitimate POGO hubs in the country. Casio also expressed gratitude for those supporting their fight against illegal POGOs.
He also called for the support and cooperation of the public and local government to address the issues related to crimes involving illegal POGOs.
