THE country’s premier police agency received a needed boost on Thursday as the Philippine National Police Foundation Incorporated (PNPFI) donated P4,058,100.00 worth of police and office equipment, to support daily operations of the police agency.
PNP Director for Logistics, PMGen Ronaldo E Olay and PNPFI Board of Trustee, Architect Ka Kuen Chua led the ceremonial turnover of donations and signing of the deed of donation on July 21, 2022 at the PNP Star Officers’ Lounge, PNP NHQ Building, Camp BGen Rafael T Crame, Quezon City.
Among the donated equipment were 102 sets of Intel Core i5 Desktop 10th Generation (Gigabyte H410M-H Motherboard 8GB DDR4 Kingston MM, 480GB 2.5 SATA SSD, Powerlogic Micro ATX Case w/ power supply, Logitech MK120 USB Mouse and Keyboard, ViewPlus Full HD “22 HDMI Monitor); 61 units HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 2777 with WIFI 3in1 Printer; 5 units ACER Asphire 3 Laptop A315-35 P5N9; 17 units ACER Projector X1126AH 4000 ANSI Lumens; 18 units E.K Portable Public System with 2 wireless microphones; 4 units HiK CCTV with 4 channels; and 21 units Sunpeed Mountain Bike.
Recipients of the said donation include the Forensic Group; Police Regional Office 2; PRO4A – Rizal PPO; Plaridel MPS, Quezon; 1st Maneuver Platoon/Tech Support; 2nd Batangas PMFC; Alitagtag MPS, Batangas; Tingloy MPS, Batangas; and Alaminos MPS; PRO4B – Puerto Princesa City Forensic Unit; PRO5 – Sto. Domingo MPS, Albay and Masbate 1st PMFC; PRO6 – Regional Comptroller Division, Iloilo PPO, and Roxas CPS; PRO11 – Regional Forensic Unit; PRO12 – Regional Finance Service Office; PRO13 – Surigao Del Norte PPO; General Luna MPS, Surigao del Norte; San Benito MPS, Surigao Del Norte; Barobo MPS, Surigao Del Sur; Surigao Del Sur 1st PMFC; and San Miguel Police Station, Surigao Del Sur.
“To our PNP personnel, may these donated police and office equipment inspire you to serve even more as we provide effective, efficient, and sustainable services for our beloved countrymen,” PMGen Olay said.
Meanwhile, PNP Officer-In-Charge PLTGEN Vicente D. Danao Jr. said that the PNPFI’s generosity complements their efforts to modernize the police organization particularly in the improvement of their capability to move, shoot, communicate and investigate.
“All of your donations will really go a long way in enhancing the effectiveness and productivity of our police officers in performing their mandated law enforcement and public safety functions,” PLTGen Danao said.
