FOLLOWING a situation briefing led by President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., the Philippine government has announced the allocation of over PHP 3.3 billion for relief, housing, and rehabilitation efforts for those affected by Typhoon Tino (#TinoPH).

A unified response has been launched, with the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), Philippine National Police (PNP), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), and Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) working together on search, rescue, and relief operations in typhoon-stricken areas.

According to the Department of Energy (DOE) and the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), the power supply remains stable, and network restoration efforts are ongoing in the Visayas region and Palawan.

The Department of Health (DOH), Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), and Local Water Utilities Administration (LWUA-MMDA) are continuing to provide food, water, and medical services to evacuation centers.

The government’s swift and coordinated response aims to provide immediate assistance to those affected by the typhoon and facilitate the long-term recovery of damaged communities.
