PRESIDENT Rodrigo Duterte on Tuesday has appointed Court Administrator Jose Midas Marquez as associate justice of the Supreme Court (SC).
Quoting Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea, acting Palace spokesperson Karlo Alexei Nograles confirmed the appointment of Marquez, who will replace Justice Edgardo delos Santos.
Marquez started his career as a clerk at the Supreme Court and rose from the ranks being staff of several justices and chief justices.
