THE Philippine National Police (PNP) has released the mid-year bonus for Calendar Year 2024 to its dedicated workforce comprising 228,893 personnel.
A total allocation of ₱7,629,893,993.00, as specified in the 2024 General Appropriations Act (GAA), has been credited to the Landbank ATM Payroll accounts of eligible PNP personnel.
This mid-year bonus, equivalent to one month’s basic pay as of May 15, 2024, is granted to personnel who have served at least four months of service from July 1, 2023, to May 15, 2024.
In his statement, Police General Rommel Francisco D. Marbil, Chief PNP, highlighted, “This bonus reflects the government’s appreciation for the relentless dedication of our men and women in uniform. It underscores their pivotal role in upholding peace and security nationwide.”
The PNP expresses its gratitude to the national government for its continued support to the organization and its personnel. This bonus brings joy and relief to our personnel and their families.
“We assure the public that the PNP remains committed to its mandate of serving and protecting the Filipino people, and this bonus will only strengthen our resolve to perform our duties with excellence and integrity,” Chief PNP added.
As part of the disciplinary policy, payment of mid-year and year-end bonuses is withheld for personnel with pending cases and who are serving punishment.
