REPRESENTATIVE Girlie Enriquez Veloso of the Malasakit at Bayanihan Partylist has filed ten bills in the recently opened 20th Congress.
These bills reflect the party’s advocacy for “Service with Compassion,” focusing on humane and just laws for all Filipinos.
The ten bills cover a wide range of issues, including healthcare, social welfare, and government efficiency. Key proposals include a Unified Health Record System, improved welfare and integration for health social workers, enhanced child support enforcement, a streamlined digital government system (Gobyernong may PUSO Act), improved medical assistance for Filipinos, a Magna Carta for Barangay Health Workers, a comprehensive Fire Victims Recovery Act, reforms to Continuing Professional Development, and a Health Resilience and Continuity of Care Act.
These measures aim to improve public service, uphold the dignity of Filipinos, and expand access to healthcare and social support, particularly for the most vulnerable. The partylist representative stated that these bills respond to the call for a more humane, responsive, and inclusive government.
