“Together, we can fulfill our dream of a Bagong Pilipinas for our people,” he said.

The leader of the 300-plus-strong House said he expects more local executives to join the party and the administration coalition as the May 2025 combined local and congressional elections near.

“Naturally, they would like to gravitate towards the coalition,” he added.

Joining Hernandez in affiliating themselves with Lakas-CMD were Board Member Magtanggol Jose Carait III, Mayor Dwight Kampitan, Vice Mayor RJ Kampitan, and Councilors Florencio Laraño, Homer Herradura, Analyn Nava, and John Paul Pahutan, all of Victoria town.

Former Victoria officials John Patrick S. Cambe and Lester Rebong likewise took their oath of membership.

Hernandez and his colleagues were the latest batch of local government officials to join Lakas-CMD.
