THE Department of Budget and Management (DBM) over the weekend announced that government workers will receive their mid-year bonus starting Monday, May 15.
DBM Secretary Amenah Pangandaman said “civil servants will be receiving their mid-year bonus this year, as provided in the agency-specific allocation under the 2023 General Appropriations Act or GAA.”
“So, we are reminding all government agencies and offices to ensure the timely release of bonuses to their employees or as stipulated in our existing rules and regulations and will begin on May 15,” she said in a statement.
