FORMER Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. has posted a P90,000 bail before the Sandiganbayan Fourth Division, which is currently handling his graft case.
The bail was granted in connection to a separate graft charge Revilla faces, distinct from the malversation case related to the alleged “ghost” flood control project that recently led to his arrest and temporary detention.
The posting of bail allows Revilla to remain free while the graft case proceeds through the court system. The details of the specific graft charge for which bail was granted were not immediately available.
Revilla continues to face legal challenges on multiple fronts, including the ongoing malversation case that has resulted in his detention at the Quezon City Jail, pending a hearing on his request to be transferred to the PNP Custodial Center.
