FORMER Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Secretary Erwin Tulfo took his oath as representative of ACT-CIS party-list.
Tulfo took his oath before House Majority Leader Manuel Jose Dalipe. He will be the third nominee of the party-list group.
However, House Secretary General Reginald Velasco clarified that he will not assume the position as a House Member in an official capacity until the House receives the certificate of nomination from the Commission on Elections (Comelec).
The poll body earlier dismissed the disqualification case against Tulfo, the same case that resulted in the suspension of his proclamation as party-list nominee.
Velasco also said ACT-CIS has officially informed them that Tulfo is “indeed the nominee” who replaced Rep. Jeffrey Soriano.
