For political kingpin and Luis “Chavit” Singson, incumbent mayor of Narvacan, Ilocos Sur and president of the League of municipal mayors’ of the Philippines, President Rodrigo Duterte will endorse Bongbong Marcos for president.
In an exclusive interview this morning by this writer, Singson pointed out that based on the speech of President when he was guest of honor and speaker during the opening of the Narvacan public market in Ilocos Sur, Duterte told the crowd that an Ilocano should be the next president and the successor of him in Malacanang.
“Ang liwanag sa mga sinasabi ni Pres Duterte na gusto niyang maging susunod na presidente na papalit sa kanya ay Ilokano; e si Bongbong lang ang kandidato na Ilokano. So si Bbm na talaga,”( President Duterte was very clear in saying that he wanted that an Ilocano will be the next presidenr and successor of him; It is real BBM), pointed out Singson. Singson is a close political ally of the president and close friend and political adviser of BBM.
Both are from the Ilocos province. As seen in the tv and social media, Singson and Marcos were always both campaigning in various parts of the country.
Singson has even predicted that around 1,200 mayors will support the presidential bid of BBM.
Based on the surveys, BBM has always remains the top choice of the voters, despite the black propaganda being thrown at him and disqualification cases filed against him.
