THE Department of Justice (DOJ) confirmed it is coordinating with Interpol to issue a red notice against former Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque.
This follows the issuance of an arrest warrant by the Angeles City Trial Court for charges of qualified human trafficking.
Roque has previously dismissed the charges as politically motivated, claiming insufficient evidence.
He is currently in the Netherlands awaiting a decision on his asylum request. The DOJ’s move to seek an Interpol red notice indicates its intent to pursue the case internationally.
