PRESIDENT Rodrigo Duterte has endorsed the AkoOFW partylist (Number 10 in the roster of partylist groups in the 2022 official ballot) to represent millions of overseas Filipinos in the House of Representatives. Among the nominees of AkoOFW are Dr. Chie Umandap, Coco Naik and Nald Santos. AkoOFW Partylist vows to champion the interests of the Filipino migrant workers and bat for OFW-oriented legislation and policies. Its legislative agenda includes: the establishment of an OFW Hospital, OFW pension plan, OFW village, OFW advisory council in every barangay in the country, and livelihood programs for families of OFWs.
