SENATE President Francis “Chiz” G. Escudero on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, welcomed former Vice President Leni Robredo, who accompanied Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Naga City delegates to the Senate for a familiarization tour.
In his meeting with the youth leaders, the Senate President urged them to go beyond the usual “de kahon” projects such as “pa-liga sa barangay,” and instead offer initiatives that would create a lasting impact and address the unique needs and challenges of their local communities.
Escudero emphasized the importance of innovative and sustainable initiatives that could foster community development and improve the overall quality of life for residents.
