CHED bumigay, F2F classes sa kolehiyo sa bakunado lang

PUMAYAG na ang Commission on Higher Education (CHED) sa limited face-to-face classes sa lahat ng degree programs sa tertiary level sa mga rehiyon sa ilalim ng Alert Level 2 – kabilang ang Metro Manila, batay na rin sa kasunduan sa pagitan ng nasabing ahensya at Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF).

 “In the IATF, we discussed the other day that in places that are already under category 2, we will allow now limited face-to-face up to 50 percent capacity in all degree programs in these areas,” ani CHED chairman Prospero De Vera.

Gayunpaman, nilinaw ni De Vera na tanging mga guro, mag-aaral at non-teaching personnel mula sa mga piling paaralan ang papayagang makibahagi sa pilot testing ng nasabing hakbang.

“The students, faculty and employees are vaccinated, they should have high vaccination rate,” saad ng opisyal kasabay ng giit na kailangan din aniyang aprubado muna ng mga lokal na pamahalaang nakakasakop sa mga nasabing institusyon, bukod pa sa mga pag-sang-ayon ng Department of Education (DepEd) na siyang naglatag ng mga panuntunang batay na rin sa minimum public health safety standards.

“The local government must be okay with it. In schools like that, we will have the second order of limited face-to-face which is to allow it in all degree programs so that there will be an incentive to get vaccinated,” aniya.

Samantala, nagpahayag naman ng kahandaan ang DepEd sa pilot implementation ng limited in-person classes na aarangkada sa Nobyembre 15 sa tinatayang 100 pampublikong paaralan at pribadong eskwelahan sa mga lokalidad sa ilalim ng kategoryang Alert Level 2.
