THE Bureau of Immigration (BI) said businessman Cedric Lee and Ferdinand Guerrero have active travel restriction and arrest warrants since 2014.
This was confirmed by Immigration spokesperson Dana Sandoval after Lee and Guerrero were convicted by a Taguig court of serious illegal detention for ransom filed by comedian Vhong Navarro.
Earlier, the Taguig City Regional Trial Court sentenced Lee, Guerrero, model Deniece Cornejo, and Simeon Palma Raz to reclusion perpetua, or 40 years’ imprisonment.
“Cedric Lee has had an active HDO (Hold Departure Order) since 2014 and a warrant of arrest since 2015. His name is likewise on the Immigration Lookout Bulletin since 2014.”
“Ferdinand Guerrero has an active warrant of arrest in our system and an ILBO dated 2014,” Sandoval said.
She added that the Immigration bureau will implement these orders if the duo attempts to leave the country.
