The statement emphasized that the Members of the Cabinet will not tolerate any attacks on the integrity and reputation of the Executive Branch, nor any attempts to hold the budget process hostage through political theatrics. It further asserted that investigations into alleged anomalies will be futile if the sources of corruption remain unchecked.
