DAVAO City Mayor Baste Duterte, during leader’s forum asked President Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos Jr to resign adding the president lacks love and aspirations for the country.
The young Duterte also described the president as lazy.
He also claimed that the president is of no use and has no positive impact on the country or even in resolving disputes among his allies.
Mayor Baste also criticized the issues between her sister Vice President Sara Duterte and House Speaker Martin Romualdez, as well as the conflict between the Senate and the House of Representatives.
He emphasized that a prayer rally against Charter Change (Cha-Cha) in Davao would not have occurred if the President had taken immediate actions to prevent internal conflicts within his team.
The Davao City mayor admitted that he expects backlash over his statements and is prepared to face the consequences.
“I’m ready to die or maybe leave the Philippines if some country will accept me for political asylum,” Mayor Baste said.
