FOR the 4th time, Interior Secretary Eduardo Año on Tuesday said he tested positive for COVID-19 anew.
In a statement, the secretary said: “After several of my close contacts had tested positive, last night I also received a positive COVID-19 RT-PCR test result.”
In 2020, Año also tested positive for the disease twice in March and August.
Año said he is still asymptomatic and will keep working his duty while in isolation.
“I encourage everyone to get vaccinated and boostered as soon as possible, and to continue following health protocols,” he added.
