TABACO CITY, ALBAY – Albay’s First District Representative and Liberal Party President Edcel C. Lagman passed away on January 30, 2025, at 5:01 PM due to cardiac arrest. He was 82.
Lagman, born May 1, 1942, is survived by his children, sisters, and other family members who were with him at the time of his passing.
In a statement released by Tabaco City Mayor Krisel Lagman, the family described Lagman as a man of “integrity, compassion, and fearlessness,” who “fought until the end.” They remembered him as a dedicated father, brother, uncle, and grandfather, a loyal friend, and a staunch advocate for human rights and the rule of law.
