TO support families hard hit by typhoon “Kristine,” Ako Bicol Party-List, led by Rep. Zaldy Co, teamed up with popular social media influencers to provide relief and encouragement to affected communities.
Known social media personalities like Boss Toyo, Daddy Blue, and Bullet joined the event, spreading smiles and hope among storm survivors.
“Nandito kami hindi lang para magbigay ng tulong, kundi para ipaalala sa ating mga kababayan na may kasama sila sa kanilang laban… Sama-sama, babangon tayo.” (We’re here not only to help, but to remind our people that they are not alone in this fight… Together, we will rise.),” Rep. Co stressed.
The Ako Bicol Party-List organized the relief distribution, reaching 2,000 families across multiple barangays in Legazpi City, including Brgy. Rizal, Brgy. Lapu-Lapu, and Brgy. Dinagaan. More relief packages were also delivered to families in Bariis, Sogod, Bagumbayan, Bolo, Naga, and Biyong, Tiwi, Albay.
Influencer Boss Toyo brought joy to the crowd, sharing his admiration for the Ako Bicol team’s efforts.
“Nakakatuwang makasama ang Ako Bicol Party-List dito,” Boss Toyo said. “Nakakabilib ang dedikasyon ni Cong. Zaldy at ng lahat ng bumubuo ng Ako Bicol para sa pagtulong sa kanilang mga kababayan dito sa Bicol… napakalaking bagay (Cong. Zaldy and the Ako Bicol team’s dedication to helping their kababayans here in Bicol is inspiring… it means a lot).”
