22 road sections closed to traffic due to ‘Egay’

TWENTY TWO  road sections are closed to traffic as reported by the Department of Public Works and Highways : twelve (12) in CAR, five (5) in Region I, one (1) in Region II, and four (4) in Region III due to soil collapse, fallen trees, fallen electrical post, washed-out/scoured bridge approach, soil erosion, road cut, damaged PCP, damaged slope protection, eroded carriageway, landslide, scoured bridge abutment, rockslide, flooding/high water elevation and for safety reason.

Also, five (5) road sections have limited access: one (1) in CAR and four (4) in Region III due to soil collapse, and flooding.

All national roads and bridges in other affected regions are passable to all types of vehicles.
