VOLLEYBALL star Michele Gumabao and her longtime partner, Aldo Panlilio, officially tied the knot in a Makati ceremony on Tuesday.
The news was confirmed by several attendees, including fellow volleyball player Jessica Galanza, who shared photos of the event on Instagram.
Gumabao herself took to Facebook, posting a picture in her Jaggy Bridal gown with the caption, “Today’s the day! The first day.” The post marked the culmination of a journey that began with a fun bridal shower celebrating the end of her single life.
The couple, who got engaged in August 2022, has been together for several years. Gumabao currently plays for the Creamline Cool Smashers in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL). Her impressive resume also includes a Binibining Pilipinas Globe 2018 title, a Top 15 finish at Miss Globe, and a 2nd runner-up placement at Miss Universe Philippines 2020.
