A WOMAN was injured after being shot by unidentified assailants on board a motorcycle along Chino Roces Avenue in Makati City on Thursday morning.
Initial reports from the Philippine National Police (PNP) stated the victim was driving her vehicle when two suspects approached her on a motorcycle and positioned themselves beside her car before opening fire.
The woman sustained gunshot wounds to her leg and thigh in the attack. The suspects, described as riding in tandem, immediately fled the scene after the shooting, leaving the victim wounded in her vehicle. No further details about the victim’s identity or her condition have been released at this time.
Authorities have launched a full investigation into the incident and are reviewing closed-circuit television footage from the area to identify the suspects and trace their escape route.
