SOCIAL media figure “Diwata” or Deo Balbuena was arrested in connection with a case for slight physical injuries.
The Pasay Police served the warrant on Balbuena on April 16, and released a video of the arrest.
Balbuena was later freed after he posted P3,000 bail.
The case for slight physical injuries was filed in 2018.
Balbuena is known for his pares stall, which also offers unlimited rice and soup at an affordable price.
Prior to this, he became viral on social media because of a video showing him with injuries and striding like a beauty queen at a police station, where he was brought after being involved in a fight.
