THE suspect involved in the shooting incident that left two people dead at a Parañaque City condominium complex basketball court has been apprehended, the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) announced on Friday night.
Authorities successfully tracked him down to another condominium in Barangay Moonwalk, Parañaque, following a thorough investigation.
During the arrest, police recovered two firearms, four magazines, and 47 rounds of ammunition from the suspect, indicating the potential for further violence. The suspect was immediately taken into custody and brought to the Parañaque City Police Station for proper disposition and further investigation, the NCRPO stated.
The shooting spree occurred on Wednesday night, resulting in two fatalities and injuring four other individuals. The incident has shocked the community, prompting authorities to intensify their efforts to ensure public safety and prevent similar occurrences in the future.
The police also confirmed that the suspect has a pending arrest warrant issued by the Taguig City Regional Trial Court on June 16, 2023, for homicide. Authorities are still investigating the incident, so more information about the suspect and arrest is not yet available.
