Manila Mayor Isko Moreno presented the suspects in a media conference on Friday.
THE body of Raymond Cabrera, the Transportation Network Vehicle Service (TNVS) driver slain in Parañaque City, was recovered in Zaragoza, Nueva Ecija on Friday.
National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) personnel located Cabrera’s remains after the three suspects in the case led them to the site. The body was found under bushes near a stone marker beside a road in Barangay Batitang.
The three suspects surrendered to Manila Mayor Isko Moreno. Cabrera was last seen alive on May 18, when he picked up the suspects in Parañaque City.
Instead of proceeding to their intended destination in Molino, Cavite, the vehicle was driven around the province.
Audio from the car’s dashcam revealed that Cabrera was no longer driving and was being stabbed.
The suspects are now in custody, facing charges for murder and robbery. The recovery of the body and the suspects’ surrender bring a measure of closure to the case, although the investigation continues.
