APOLLO Quiboloy, founder of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC), has been transferred back to Pasig City Jail from a hospital, the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) confirmed Thursday.
Jail Superintendent Jayrex Bustinera stated that Quiboloy returned to the jail facility at 9:50 p.m. on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, following medical clearance.
The transfer was ordered by the Pasig City Regional Trial Court-Branch 159, according to private prosecutor Atty. Joeie Domingo.
The court’s order stipulated that Quiboloy’s return to jail was mandatory unless a compelling medical need for specialized care could be demonstrated. The court noted the adequacy of medical facilities within the BJMP facility.
