COMMUTERS can now look forward to significantly faster, more comfortable, and safer journeys with the inauguration of the CAVITEX C5 Link Segment 3B.
This new segment dramatically cuts down travel time, reducing the journey between CAVITEX and SLEX/C5 from a previous one and a half hours to a mere 15 minutes. This development is expected to benefit approximately 36,000 vehicles daily, easing traffic congestion on routes like Kaingin Road and improving accessibility for residents of Southern Metro Manila and Cavite.
The construction of this two-kilometer, three-lane expressway in Parañaque City was undertaken directly under the directive of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.
The initiative aims to alleviate traffic woes, particularly in anticipation of the increased volume of travelers during the upcoming Holy Week. The improved infrastructure is designed to provide a smoother flow of vehicles, thereby enhancing the overall travel experience for motorists and commuters alike.
In a move to further encourage the use of this new segment and provide immediate relief to the public, the toll fee for the CAVITEX C5 Link Segment 3B will be waived. This toll-free period will be in effect from March 30 to April 30, allowing commuters to experience the benefits of the new expressway without additional cost. This initiative underscores the government’s commitment to improving transportation infrastructure and making travel more accessible and convenient for all Filipinos.
