A LOVE triangle and drugs are being considered as motives in the killing and dumping of the male victim in a septic tank in Pasig City.
Based on the information gathered, the victim was stabbed with a screwdriver because the suspect wanted to reconcile with the former’s partner.
Additionally, the group of five suspects allegedly involved in the victim’s murder is believed to be linked to illegal drugs, with the victim suspected to be a police asset.
An informant pointed out where the victim was dumped following validation that the group was involved in drug pushing.
A murder case was filed against them.
“Two suspects were arrested during a follow-up operation after the crime was discovered, while one was arrested in a separate operation. One suspect was apprehended in Masbate,” said Eastern Police District Director Police Brigadier General Wilson Asueta in an interview.
