THE Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) will implement shorter operating hours on December 24 (Christmas Eve) and December 31 (New Year’s Eve).
Regular operations of LRT-2 will remain on December 25 (Christmas Day), December 30 (Rizal Day), and January 1, 2023 (New Year’s Day).
Shorter operating hours are also due to the expected lower number of passengers on such occasions. It also aims to give the frontline personnel of LRT-2 a chance to celebrate with their families this holiday season.
The LRTA will continue to implement the “No Inspection, No Entry” policy on the things carried by all passengers especially gift-wrapped items.
