A KOREAN national was arrested and will face rape charges after a female job applicant went to a police station and reported the assault on November 28.
Pasay police said the alleged victim, 18, accused the suspect, identified only as “Kevin,” 25, of raping her inside his apartment in Barangay 15, the Pasay City police chief Col. Marion Mayames said in a police report.
Based on the alleged victim’s statement to police, a mutual friend had encouraged her to apply for a job as a casino dealer in the suspect’s office at HK Sun Plaza on Diosdado Macapagal Boulevard.
The alleged victim said Kevin interviewed her and then invited her to dinner and drinks in his apartment.
The suspect ordered her to have alcoholic drinks with her and then assaulted her when she refused, the police report said.
After she managed to flee, the alleged victim reported the incident to the Pasay Police Substation 1 at the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) Complex, according to police.
