FUGITIVE preacher Kingdom of Jesus Christ founder Apollo Quiboloy has been ordered arrested for non-bailable charge for qualified human trafficking before the Pasig City Regional Trial Court (RTC).
The Pasig City Regional Trial Court (RTC), on Thursday, issued the warrant for the sect leader’s arrest, the second court order seeking his arrest since the release of the first warrant for child sex abuse by a Davao City court earlier this month.
Quiboloy has continued to evade arrest, saying he would only turn himself in if the government guaranteed that the United States would not be allowed to meddle in his cases.
The condition was not accepted by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and law enforcement agencies.
Five of Quiboloy’s associates are now out on bail as they turned themselves in after the issuance of the first arrest warrant.
Quiboloy’s lawyer earlier said the sect leader remained in the Philippines, as his arresting officers failed to locate him in KOJC’s known properties.
Besides the court-issued arrest warrants, the Senate has also released its own arrest order for Quiboloy for failing to attend the Senate hearings on the allegations against him.
